Amplifiers/Docs/Plans and credits

Plans and credits

Amplifiers has a free tier and a paid Pro subscription. Current prices are shown on the plan page and again at checkout before you pay.

Free

  • Access to the catalogue and the free amplifiers in it
  • A monthly credit allowance for metered actions
  • No card required

Pro

  • A much larger monthly credit allowance
  • Access to Pro-only prompts and tools
  • Higher rate limits
  • Saved prompts in your personal library

Pro is billed monthly or yearly through Stripe. We never see or store your card details. A free trial is offered on some plans; it converts to a paid subscription automatically unless you cancel before it ends.

Credits

Most of the catalogue costs nothing to run. Metered actions — image generation, and some Pro tools that call a paid third-party API — consume credits.

  • 1 credit = 1 cent of underlying cost. Pricing is per action and shown before you commit.
  • Your plan includes a monthly allowance that resets each billing period. It does not roll over.
  • You can buy top-up packs at any time. Purchased credits never expire, and they're spent only after the monthly allowance is used up.
  • If an action fails on our side, the credits are returned automatically.

Check your balance any time by asking your assistant for your account status, or at getamplifiers.com/account.

Bring your own key

For some providers you can supply your own API key instead of spending credits. Then you pay that provider directly, we don't meter the action, and you can delete the key from your account whenever you want.

Managing your subscription

Everything is self-service at getamplifiers.com/account, which opens the Stripe customer portal:

  • Change plan
  • Update your payment method
  • Download invoices
  • Cancel — takes effect at the end of the period you've already paid for; you keep access until then

Refunds

The Terms of Service §5 has the binding version. In short: beyond the statutory EU right of withdrawal, fees are non-refundable — but if something went wrong on our side, write to us. We'd rather refund a fair claim than argue about it.

Deleting your account

From your account page. There's a 30-day grace period you can cancel, after which we cancel your subscription and delete what we hold for you. Privacy Policy §8 sets out exactly what goes and the two financial records tax law requires us to keep.
